Free Swimming for the over 60s
Residents and visitors to East Hampshire aged 60 and over will be able to
swim for free at Alton Sports Centre, Mill Chase Leisure Centre (Bordon)
and the Taro Leisure Centre (Petersfield) from April.
The initiative, to encourage people to adopt more healthy lifestyles, runs
from April 1st 2009 to 31 March 2011. The pilot scheme is being funded by
the Government and the East Hampshire Leisure Community Association,
which operates the 3 Centres on behalf of DC Leisure Management Ltd on
behalf of the District Council.
