Young people can climb high with GetActiv8d
Active kids over eight years old can reach new heights with two fully inclusive climbing sessions run by Get Activ8d.
The sessions are part of an East Hampshire District Council scheme to get children and young people with disabilities or additional needs active and healthy, the climbing sessions will be held at Alton Sports Centre.
Sessions, arranged with support from Inspiring You and High Sports, will be held on Sunday 11 December 2011 and Sunday 22 January 2012. The following times are available on both dates:
12 noon - 1pm
1.15pm - 2.15pm
2.30pm - 3.30pm
3.45pm – 4.45pm
Four spaces an hour are open to children and young people over eight years old with disabilities and or additional needs. To make it even more fun a friend or sibling can join them for the hour as well at no extra cost to parents/carers or guardians.
Booking is essential for these session as spaces are limited and to book or for more information please contact lisa.clements@easthants.gov.uk or 01730 234384.
When booking please specify preferred times and let organisers know of any requirements the young people will need.
