Club Profile:
Walking to Health at Alice Holt Forest provides short, safe and sociable walks for people to get out into the fresh woodland air, stretch their legs, de-stress and increase their physical activity levels. Walks are led by our own volunteer walk leaders and take place on Tuesdays.
On Tuesdays in February, March, September, October, November and December there are short morning walks lasting 1 hour. These start at 10am from the Café on the Green.
On Tuesdays in April, May, June, July and August walks are more strenuous. These walks are also on Tuesdays but start at 6.30pm from the Alice Holt classroom and last up to 1˝ hours.
Don’t forget to wear suitable footwear to walk along the forest trails and wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions.
Children under 16 years, must be accompanied by an adult.
A parking permit will be issued by your leader on the day if required. Please park in the main car park.
